[mood | angry]

So I heard that people apparently have been talking about me at La Salle. Whatever, I have nothing more to do with you people but I want to clear a few things up.

I threatened nobody with my katana. Infact, no kids live on my street. Two Indian college students live across the road from me, that's it. I don't appreciate rumors. I'm not accusing one of you of starting it, but I don't appreciate the after-talk.

Secondly. I have most certainly not slept around with "lots of women". I've slept with one girl in my entire life. ONE. In the last three years I've only been in three relationships with girls that even qualify to a degree of a relationship. 1) If you count when I met Audra. 2) Natasha, and 3) Melissa. So nice job.

Go find a better passtime than spreading rumors.

Something that needed to be said [Apr. 3rd, 2005|03:26 am]
Attention those of you who still read or skim my journal, I have something that needs to be said.
If you manage to read this, please feel free to share this with the other students at La Salle whom you feel should know.

Attention, anyone that I may have crossed paths with over the course of my enrollment at La Salle Academy,

I acknowledge that I'm overly pessimistic, and I appologize for that. I'm very much trying to change. I don't like being so negative all of the time, and you don't either, I'm sure.

I acknowledge also that I've lost my ability to spell as of the moment due to a massive migraine, so please excuse any typos.

Next, in regards to calling into question the crudentials of teachers, I think that my thought process needs some explaining. I take my education very seriously, and I believe that due to that, my actions and words have been misunderstood. I personally believe that I have been overly critical about teachers. Again, attributing it to my attitude and way of conducting myself, I really believe that my high standards have caused me to be dissatisfied with my educational experience at La Salle Academy. That being said, I have come to realize that the problem was not the teachers or the students, or even the materials being covered, but rather it was me. My mental attitude towards education has made me experience there miserable, and that is why I have withdrawn from the school. To make that last sentence clear, I have asked that I be removed from the Academy, and have not been expelled as may have been claimed.

What does this all mean? Simply-put, I would like to appologize to anyone that has taken offense to my conduct, words, or actions over the course of this year, and I assure you that if I would do the year over, I would swiftly move to correct this mental flaw and enjoy the year as I should have. I would like to applogize for my experience becoming a burden on you, my friends, and ruining your experience there. While I stand by my opinions and ideas, I believe that the manner I went about presenting them and arguing them was wrong, and for that too, I am sorry.

I would like to conclude with this simple sentence, which I have probably said a thousand times in the past, but whose meaning has never been fully appreciated:

I'm sorry.

Jon.

Speedcore:

This isn't music, this is just a gigantic dick-wagging, more-hardcore-than-thou staring contest between Hardcore producers to see which of them can be assaulted with "BPM = 1000" on their drum machines and not flinch. I can't possibly think of any drug that would make you want to dance this fast. Or even headbang to it. I get a headache after two minutes of doing that anyway. I guess that's why 90 percent of the tracks are 30 seconds long. It's the music equivalent of holding your breath; that is, if done for long enough, you will pass out.

Made me laugh:

Jpop:
Is anyone even surprised that this kind of stuff would come from Japan? That whole country is like Bizarro world. They do everything we do, just in a really strange way. It reminds me of that scene in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" where they go near Toontown, and you can see clouds of smoke and yelling and fighting and all sorts of haywire shit happening above the horizon to signify the complete and total lunacy of the place. Japan is just like that. The whole world continuously scratches its head at the far east, then sits back and watches to see what wacky thing the Japanese will do next. I mean, I'm sure the culture is swell once you get past all the incest and pedophilia and giant robots and all, but after that--huh? Japan is super crazy place, 100 PERCENT! Note: there's actually two forms of Jpop. The faster kind which gives the hardiest Dance Dance Revolution masters a run for their money, which is indistinguishable from Eurobeat, and the more bubblegum kind, called Shibuya-kei. You can tell which is which.

[music |Mayday - Raving Society 26-11-1994 (D I G I T A L L Y - I M P O R T E D - Classic Electronica - old]

Hi Spun Reading Friday:

You shine darker than the night
You are older than the light
You're invisible to me
without a face or skin to see
so terrible and secretly
eternally,
Black Sun.

You betray and phase the mind
show my soul under the light
you seduce and desecrate
so damn cold and far away
and yet inside you heat me up
for it comes,
the Black Sun.

You appear in all my dreams
touch my black heart with your things
A tree of life strives in your ace
as you free me from the pain
to tell the truth you frighten me
eternally,
Black Sun

You exceed the speed of light:
You're everywhere at every time
Not the Father, Nor the Mother,
Nor the Kingdom come of Heaven,
But without you, I'm nothing
endlessly...
My Black Sun.

My Black Sun.
